Perianal Abscess
The main symptom of a perianal abscess is throbbing pain near or in the anus. Treatment involves draining the pus.

About two thirds of abscesses resolve. The other third persist with either recurrent collections or a small intermittently discharging pimple. If this occurs there may be a small tract connecting the mid anal canal to the skin near the anus. This is caused a fistula.
